Keith has a lifelong history of growing in glasshouses.
From leaving school to about 10 years ago he grew various vegetables, lettuce, tomatoes, celery under glass to supply all the major supermarkets. This was very successful but very stressful. He decided to go back to what he enjoyed most growing plants.
Half the glass was used to grow plants to supply seeds for a Dutch seed company. The other half was used to grow shrubs and grasses for a major wholesaler. Eventually all the glass was used for contract growing aprrox 1 million plants a year.
In January 2012 Keith made the decision to set up a wholesale business to grow and supply his own plants.
Keith is hoping to establish a happy and friendly workplace both for the people working there and people visiting.
Customers will always be made welcome when visiting and hope fully will find the nursery a place to relax after the pressure of trying to sell.
Keith is confident he can compete on quality. He has three acres of glass available and the plants can be given more than the space they require.
Keith loves growing and has no intention of becoming office bound.
He believes his costs will be as low as anybodys. his aim is to offer top quality plants of a good selection at the lowest possible prices.
